Vida Glow Review

I’ve been seeing a lot of talk about collagen supplements recently and wanted to give them a try to see if all the hype was worth it. Now I knew, whatever supplement I choose I wanted it to be natural as possible since, I care about what I put into my body.

I decided to give Vida Glow a try and see how it worked for me. I have been using Vida Glow for a little over 3 weeks and wanted to share my thoughts on the product.

Vida Glow is a “100% natural marine collagen supplement” free of any preservatives and colours etc. It comes in powdered single serve sachet from making it easy to add to literally anything!  The best part, it honestly has no fishy taste so sometimes I simply add it to my water bottle and drink it like this! You can add it to smoothies, juices, yoghurt, and acai bowls! Vida Glow aim is to work from within to rebuild and strengthen the collagen matrix below the skin’s surface. As we are subject to toxins, sun damage, poor diets and ageing, the multi layers which are linked together under the skin degenerate, resulting in fine lines, and wrinkles.

Vida Glow offers 3 packs of 30, 60 or 90 sachets, which as an added bonus are gorgeously designed and easy to take with you anywhere. I personally  don’t take a sachet everyday so the pack of 30 which I have will last me around  2 – 2 ½ months.

I got the peach flavour, which has natural Peach and natural Peach Juice powder. Peaches are rich in phytochemicals called phenols that act as antioxidants. Peach Vida Glow also comes with added Vitamin C and Green Tea extract, for an extra dose of antioxidants. Antioxidants are essential for healthy hair, skin and nails as they help protect cells from damage.

I have two favourite ways of using Vida Glow:

  1. I either like having it in my fruit water in the morning or throughout out my day.

2.  Making a acai or smoothie bowl for breakfast and adding it to that. The added bound is that it comes in a host of favours: mango, blueberry, peach and pineapple.

I suffer from both Acne and eczema and vida glow suggests that it can be helpful to those suffering from these skin conditions.

My skin changed drastically over the three week span I have been using vida glow. I use the product every other day usually in the mornings. I noticed increased hydration and  a clearer/smoother complexion. I found that my eczema also flared up significantly less, which was amazing because that’s one thing I consistently struggle with.

My hair feels softer and looks shiner which is great since shine is one area my hair grades low.

Overall, I noticed that Vida Glow assisted in smoothing out the my skin and diminishing the appearance of fine marks I have left over from acne. I love how easy it is to add to my morning routine, I usually have a smoothie or acai bowl and it’s perfect to add to that. When i’m on the run i opt to add it to my water which is convenient and quick.
